Top Ten attractions in Kolmården/Norrköping.
- Kolmårdens djurpark. Kolmården Wildlife Park.
It started 52 years ago with one man and the crazy idea to build a zoo in the forest in Kolmården. And now Kolmården Wildlife Park is one of the most popular tourist attractions in the Nordic countries.
- The Marble Quarry.
Kolmårds-marble is known worldwide and marble has been mined here in installments from the 17th century until the 1970th. The marble is represented in many buildings as floors, stairs and windowsills. You can visit the museum in Marmorbruket, Kolmården.
- Göta Kanal.
Göta kanal is one of Sweden´s most famous tourist sites. It starts from Mem just outside Norrköping and ends 58 locks and 190 km later in to the lake Vänern.
Baltzar von Platen was the initiator of the project and they started to dig in 1810.

If you want to explore the nature you can do that through Kolmården´s legendary forests with steep, green ravines, small forest lakes and incredible views over Bråviken the bay of Baltic sea. You can also take a trip to Arkösunds archipelago by car or boat.

Approximately 25 000 cactus plants are planted at the end of June every year. The display changes from year to year. The theme is something which is of interest for that particular year.
