Every year we celebrate the day of the Recreation Center all over our country. This year it was on the 8Th of May.
We always have many different activities on this day, not only for the pupils. Their siblings and parents also have the chance to join.
We arranged three activities that we want to bond to Street Art in our project.
– Mural like Kadinsky. The teachers drew lines on a big paper and then the pupils got to fill in the lines with different colours.
– “Spoon Braiding” The yarn is attached to a spoon at the bottom. You collaborate in pairs and wielding the spoon in a recurrent pattern until you got a long braid.
– Make a curtain out of plastic bottle caps. Since we have a tradition to work with sustainable development we want to highlight this in our activity. That is why we collected used bottle caps and let the pupils create curtains with those.
– Plant flowers. The pots that the pupils plant in was recycled milk carton and cans.
