TITLE: STREET ART COUNTRY: CATALONIA (SPAIN) DATE: May 2018 |
| Duration and involved people: We spent two hours. When teachers arrived at school we split in two groups and some of them painted a wall in the playground of the school. Children were also involved in this activity (from 3 to 12 years old and the Italian students that we were hosting those days too) |
| Objectives:
Paint a mural to give colour to our playground and visibility to the community. Leave the mark on the wall of all the teachers and students that are doing this project. To promote values such as coexistence, respect between different cultures, nature, friendship… |
| Methodology:
A local artist came to our school and draw the design on our wall. Then all the teachers and students we were hosting helped him to paint the pictures he drew. The rest of the students in our school were also involved in this activity. Then we went to a village near Linyola, Penelles, where we could admire some beautiful paintings too. |
| Achievements:
We improved our playground with the help of all those people and we merged art and craft all together. We shared this nice experience and it will remind forever in our minds. And we could speak in English most of the time. |
