PROJECT  @MUSEART

  • El Sitjar school participates in the @Museart Project of the Erasmus + programme.
  • European countries: Italy, England, Sweden, Estonia, Croatia, Bulgary, Ireland, Northern Ireland and Catalonia (Spain) (we have made a map).
  • The @Museart project asked us to make A CURRENCY AND A TICKET WITH HISTORICAL CHARACTERS OF CATALONIA.
  • To begin with we looked at the map (google maps) of the streets of Linyola and we saw that there were many names of important people.
  • All together we made a long list of the historical figures of Catalonia.
  • In pairs we chose the character we wanted to study.
  • We looked for information on the internet and the books of the characters.
  • Exhibition of biographies.
  • We voted to choose two women and two men:
  • Guifré el Pilós
  • Pau Casals
  • Maria Mercè Marçal
  • Joana Raspall
  • We looked for coins and notes of the European Union (euros).
  • We designed currencies and notes.
  • We prepared the exhibition in the corridor.
  • We explained all the process in the upper cycle.
  • The upper cycle voted and chose the 4 coins and the 4 notes with our HISTORICAL CHARACTERS: COMTE GUIFRÉ EL PILÓS,  PAU CASALS,  MARIA MERCÈ MARÇAL AND  JOANA RASPALL.
